Memorial Walk-And-Roll-A-Thon raises more than $14,000

The 12th Annual Memorial Walk-And-Roll-A-Thon held on Sunday, September 20th at Tipton Park in Bloomington, Illinois raised more than $14,000 – a new record, for the Spina Bifida Association of Illinois.
The early afternoon rain couldn't keep away 145 individuals who participated in the 12th Annual Memorial Walk-And-Roll-A-Thon, honoring the lives of Emma Kenny, Shannon Kolodzieski, Kaylin Rood, and Sarah Whitted. All of the participants did a wonderful job raising pledges for this record-breaking event, including six Walk-And-Rollers who raised more than $500, and will receive an iPod shuffle! Funds raised go directly to providing a number of services like a regional educational conference and social events that help individuals with Spina Bifida and their families.
