Bowlers Pack the Lanes for 2011 Bloomington Candlelight Bowl
The 2011 Candlelight Bowl was held on Saturday, February 5th at AMF Circle Lanes in Bloomington for the Spina Bifida Association of Illinois.
More than $4,500 was raised by bowlers at this year's event. In addition to bowling, children, adults and families that attended enjoyed pizza, popcorn, an auction, and a raffle. This year, a special prize was auctioned off: a handmade quilt incorporating tee-shirts from all the previous 13 years of the Memorial Walk-and-Roll-A-Thon.
The Candlelight Bowl wouldn't be possible without our wonderful supporters who continually participate in our Central Illinois events. A special thanks to them for all their effort and generosity!
Funds raised will be used for direct services to people with Spina Bifida and their families, through Scholarships, Family Outreach Program, Adult Transition Programs and educational and social events.
