Office Volunteers
Volunteers are needed during the weekdays between 9am and 5pm to help answer phones, send out mailings, enter data, make copies, and assist with other office tasks.
Public Relations Volunteers
SBAIL is looking for PR volunteers to assist with creating and sending out press releases. Volunteers are also needed to write articles for our quarterly newsletter, design brochures, revamp our current newsletter layout, and take photographs at events.
Marketing Volunteers
SBAIL is looking for marketing volunteers to assist with creating and sending out marketing ads and flyers and designing brochures. Volunteers are also needed to help assess the most effective advertising situations and to seek pro-bono ad placement.
IT Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to assist with website updates and to provide troubleshooting for day to day computer, router, or networking problems.
Fundraising Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to solicit and collect raffle prizes and donations, sell sponsorships, and recruit participation for fundraising events.
Special Event Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to be chair and be part of committees organizing events such as our Family Picnic, Holiday Party, Pony Up for Spina Bifida Event, Golf Outings and Walk-And-Roll-A-Thons.
Kids On The Block Volunteers
Volunteers are needed during school hours (7:30am-3:00pm) to take these life-sized puppets and copy written scripts to local schools and perform as puppeteers for children in grades K-3. These puppets help to describe Spina Bifida and Learning Disabilities to young children in an entertaining and understandable manner.
